I came across this short clip of Zizek from the documentary Zizek! after hearing about the film on TBOOK (this particular installment was actually about Astra Taylor's more recent film, Examined Life, but I digress). This notion of imbalance and "cosmic catastrophe" is awfully compelling. Given my interest in Christian thought, I am (obviously) drawn to the idea of creation being a mistake, something I equate with original sin. If I hadn't left all my yet-unread Zizek at home, I likely could say quite a bit more. As a wise man once said, "this is the life."
